I've run to ground I've run from everyone that I have ever known As I write this, I see a forest in the distance. Cold and hungry, I run to it. Hoping to find a cabin..or food, or shelter. Something to sustain me. I'm aching cold I'm aching from the bones the very blood of me As I reach the forest, I see snow. It makes me think of long ago..when I actually was worth a damn. When everyone thought I was useful, nice.. Those days are long gone. And it's broke before you know it Before you knew what it was for All you know is you can't fix it And you wish you'd listened more My ears begin to ring as I run to a cabin. It makes me thin

I Remember The ground is cold with icy snow I see a small petal on the ground, a little miracle..just like you were Days have gone by slowly since you passed. Today I went to the waterfall we used to go to. I remember we sometimes played in the water, other times we sat near it and reflected. A moment of peace for our tired minds. I remember the house we lived in. It feels empty now, a ghost town. We used to love taking long showers together, bathing and relaxing together. I take a longing look at the dusty, unused chair. I haven't used anything in this house since you went. I float through the days like a ghost, barely feeling alive.
